It's hard to say without knowing the size of your dad's head, but it does look a bit short to me. Otherwise, it's really nice.

I think it's very cute on you. Keep this one for you and make another for your dad.
I, for one, don't think it's too short.
I don't think it's too short. I made 2 (diff. cable pattern) for my sis and her new hubby. I told them they were meant to be more like Skull Caps, not over the ears kind of hats. They love 'em!!!
